TWO PRIMARY CLINIC LOCATIONS are located in Springfield and Decatur, Illinois, five days a week and two outreach clinics are located in Shelbyville and Carlinville, Illinois. The primary clinics are equipped with advanced medical equipment and products to provide a wide array of podiatric services in one central location and to minimize inconvenience to patients. The ADVANCED EXTREMITY IMAGING includes a world class Esaote O-scan MRI and CurveBeam PedCAT CT Scanner, as well as Digital X-rays, Ultrasound and Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) equipment that allow the team to provide immediate diagnosis without causing any inconvenience or discomfort.
The ILLINOIS LASER CENTER includes a Cutera Genesis Plus laser to provide laser services for Onychomycosis (fungus in the toenails and fingernails) and other cosmetic treatments. The Center also has a Cutting Edge MLS Laser that is used for post- operative treatments to reduce pain and swelling. This laser is used to treat all orthopedic pathologies, arthritic conditions, bursitis, athletic injuries, neuropathy, tendonitis, bruises, and trauma.
The FOOT & ANKLE DEPOT is a one-of-a kind specialty products store located within the clinic for added convenience. The store offers physician approved footwear and orthotic shoes, custom orthotics, insoles, shoe inserts, shoe mobility assistance devices, ointments, and other products essential to foot health. Medical Assistants are certified shoe fitters.
A PHARMACY is also available within the clinic for added convenience and care. Patients are able to obtain medical prescriptions at the clinic after their appointment.
INDEPENDENT CLINICAL RESEARCH (ICR) is a branch of the Foot & Ankle Center of Illinois created to further the advancement of medical developments and to ultimately improve the level of patient care. ICR is fortunate to have a highly qualified staff to participate in clinical research studies sponsored by pharmaceutical and medical device companies throughout the world. ICR is constantly making patients aware of these opportunities and recruiting volunteers to advance medical science.
ALTERNATIVE TREATMENTS- The Foot & Ankle Center of Illinois now offers cutting edge amniotic membrane injections as an alternative treatment for patients because it is safe and effective. This is modern regenerative medicine, similar to stem cell therapy. PATIENT REFERRALS ARE IMPORTANT- If you have a family member or friend who needs foot and ankle care, please refer them to us. We are always willing to take new patients and schedule their appointment within twenty-four hours. In most instances, Primary Care Physician referrals are not necessary, and most insurance plans are accepted.
